Few words about Steveo's Ironworks and Designs!!!

26 years in my trade as a boilermaker, I spent my 3rd and 4th year after work and in my spare time with an old and very large  blacksmith (Frank Grecko) in Mt.Isa in late 1989 to 93, he was the last practicing blacksmith working at Mt.Isa Mines back then, and I was so fortunate to gain knowledge from him, and to develop a passion for heating,twisting and creating anything from steel. From then I taught myself the basics.Years later I was to be introduced to the equine side of the trade in horse shoeing and most of all forging. I was encouraged to compete in shoeing and blacksmithing competitions via the Australian Farriers and Blacksmiths Association. All though not to good with horse side, but managed to be successful in the forging and ornamental aspects of each competition even winning some. Moving from a property to a small town house has not stopped my ability to create anything that may intrigue me to complete and satisfy my customers needs. Adding to this my wife Debbie and I have been developing an additional part of the business with our new Cameo 3 cutting machine which enables us to create custom made shirts, signs, stickers even etch glass and steel and design personalized cards,etc
